Bruce left University with a degree in ceramics and glass with silver smithing. Wanting to retail his products he started selling at Camden Market producing bespoke handmade copper candlesticks and clocks. These were a great success and he had a stall there for 10 years creating great friends and contacts in the retail trade over this time.
Wanting to take his products further he offered his gifts to the wholesale side of retail selling to gift shops and galleries home and abroad including Liberties, Debenhams and many independant gift shops. His wife Linda was now working with him in the business, they produced bespoke handmade products for various companies and had a range of gifts for The artist formally known as Prince.
After moving to Flackwell Heath and having children Bruce and Linda wanted to simplify their life and decided to take the jump from wholesale to retail taking on an empty shop in the village where they lived and called it Daisy Gift Shop. This is where Bruce now produces his bespoke handmade products designed by him for Daisy Gift Shop and their website. He enjoys being able to produce one off pieces for customers and offers great customer service.
Daisy Gift Shop has been open for 18 years and has grown and developed over that time along with Bruces designs some of which you can find on this website. We offer a much wider range of his gifts in our shop so it is well worth a visit.
Bruce has been fundraising for The Pace Centre in Aylesbury, an amazing school for children with disabilities such as cerebal palsy for many years now by doing charity cycle rides all over the world which are funded by himself. The money he and his fellow cyclists have raised has helped the start of a new building project for the school to expand the help they can give to children and their families. Please visit www.thepacecentre.org to see the amazing work they do and understand Bruce s passion for this amazing place.
